Filming

Not much needs to be said about the short section of filming other than the fact that me falling on my face was a complete accident. I was really disappointed that I ran out of time to get a high quality video camera and sound recorder. My phone did the job okay, but didn’t give a professional finish – not that the animation looked all the clean and neat.

I ensured that I took plenty of shots that I could play about with in post production. The clothes I wore were intended to contrast with the green-rich background, this meant I would be immediately easy to spot. This was needed as I was only visible for a few seconds and needed to make sure the audience had time to follow along.

Little thought was given to shot angles, other than ensuring I had something wide and some close-ups to gives a sense of space. Thankfully I found the perfect bush to launch my sisters old phone into a few times.
